homegrown goodness

I love the tearoom at work.  It is a shared place where you catch up and laugh with colleagues, refuel and relax - very oasis like!  Often wonderful people leave surplus homegrown produce from their garden - fresh and free - for people to take and enjoy also.  This season I have been delighted with refreshing Nashi Pears, crispy, cool cucumber and juicy, red plums.

I look at my backyard (read: jungle) and wonder what I can offer.  A self-seeded, self-assured pumpkin plant is making its way steadily across the lawn.  Maybe I can bring in a pumkin or two in autumn... but in the meantime: Thank you dear colleagues for sharing all YOUR homegrown goodness! x
